Default Texas Tracks?

Dont like autocross, anybody aware of any road courses around here? I was looking at Motorsports ranch but it seems that nobody really rents those out. And if people DO rent them out, its like Ferrari's and those kind of cars....

Texas seems like its going to suck the big fat thumb for road course

Check out www.thedriversedge.net. They have events at both MSR and TWS and next year will even have an event at Hallett in Tulsa. The Drivers Edge put on great events and has excellent instructors

Where in texas are you? Every 2nd sat. of the month (i think) the local porsche club sets up a road course open to anyone who wants. They use an old navy field here in Corpus Christi, and I think it;s usually ~2miles or so long. this past weekend was my first time out, and they had set up a 3.5 mile course and it kicked ***!! chech out their site http://www.coastalbendpca.org for more info.

Cool....I'm keeping track of all the "close" tracks so I can shake down the car when she's finished....and Corpus just fits "close" I think....thanks for the link.

man, i almost went to that event this month. i live near by, but i've only been doing the autox's here . i'm kinda "scured" to go to the PCA events because i know that's one more step into this horrible addiction...hehe, maybe next month. anyways, if you have some time we have an autox on the first sunday of every month. normally there are untimed runs on saturday, around 20 cars on sunday, and 1:10 - 1:30 average times. maybe i'll get a chance to see some fellow HT's out there .
