i hope you guys understand my post.
so i had 2 transmissions a s1 and y1, so i broke the case on the s1 and i bought a y1 thinking it was good, y1 wasnt good cause third, fourth, and fifth wouldnt engage. So i decided to swap the internals from the s1 (which were good before i cracked the case) to the y1, after all was said and done, i put on the tranny on my car drove it and noticed there is a whining noise when i drive it at all times, and when im on the freeway third doesnt want to engage or it does but when it wants to. i used 10 30 oil and a quart of 20 50. i used the 20 50 cause thats all there was and i just wanted to see if the transmission worked. any of you guys have any idea whats causing these problems? i was thinking maybe the oil?...but idk. btw third gear works fine if im just driving slow cruising. thanks
