honda accord 91 Battery Cable problem

I decided to change my battery cable for my honda accord 1991 model. There is no place that has the exact same honda part battery cable, so went ahead and purchased an aftermarket cable from an autopart store. But i am not sure how to connect the new cable to my car.
As you can see in the picture, the positive battery battery cable is made up of two cables. One is attached to the starter and the other one is is attached to all the honda fuses area. Both cables are attached together to the positive terminal.
But the new aftermarket cable that i purchased, looks a little different than my original cable so i don't know how i can make this work. As you can see, the new aftermarket battery cable terminal, is not something i can open up, like the original battery cable terminal.
Can someone tell me how do i install this? Do i attach the thick red part of the cable to the starter? why is there a tiny small mini cable with a yellow head attached to the battery cable?
Am i suppose to connect the fuse cable to the tiny small mini cable with the yellow head?
Did i purchase the correct battery cable? if you look at the negative battery cable at 2nd picture above, it looks like the battery cable that i just purchased should go to the negative not positive. because they both have the negative yellow head in one end and the other end looks like the other part of the cable.
Napa auto parts told me, no, that is the correct cable and it goes to the positive. Kragen auto parts told me, that the cable i just purchased is supposed to go to the negative side and that its not the correct cable to go on the positive side.
I need your help here.

well that's not the OEM battery cables either... looks like it has been changed by a previous owner already
why are you going to change them out again?
it sure does look like it's for a negative battery cable though... i'd return it for fear of thinking that's a positive cable & Bro in Law hooked up jumper cables to his battery backwards and fried the battery!
