D16Z6 TB on a D15b7 engine

Recently found out I have a D16Z6 TB on my D15B7 engine, I didn't put it there either. Should I use the D15 or the D16 TB gasket and what are some things to check to make sure it was installed properly?

It's the same TB either way, unless it's a '92 - '93 D15B7 then it'll have a firewall mounted MAP sensor.

I am trying to get to the bottom of this idle problem I am having. I want to make positive this isn't what is causing it.
