Default Vtec Solenoid and Green Sensor

Okay I just got a z6 head I can't wait to play with pretty cheap but the green sensor on the housing of the Solenoid is broken what is it? Is it just a temp sensor? or is it a pressure sensor?

If you wanna be cheap, just bypass the pressure switch at the ECU. You simply jump one of the PS wires with the VTEC Solenoid. Do a search to find out how.

People do this because JDM motors don't have that pressure switch.
