1999 Honda Accord EX below idle
I've got a problem. My car does not hold idle. The needle goes down to about 200 rpm and runs rough. However, when pressing the gas the car runs fine, but have to use brake and gas at same time to avoid the rpm from dropping too low. The car hasn't stalled yet. Its got 200k miles, a 5 month old transmission, a new catalytic converter, and new plugs. There are no check engine lights. Do I have a fuel delivery problem? The tank was quarter full when the problem occurred.

The AC is off. But, the AC blows cold air while the gas is pressed and the gear is turning. The rpms will drop a couple hundred when the AC is on. Shouldn't the computer compensate for the extra load? I believe my computer was flashed and software updated when the catalytic converter was installed a few weeks ago. There is an entry on my bill that says "tech analysis" and costs $100. My friend loosened the screw on the IAC where the throttle body is and it is holding idle now. Is the loosening of the screw a permanent solution? Do I have a a broken IAC? My cap and rotor were replaced 2.5 years ago.
A horrible thing happened. One of the screws holding the IAC to manifold broke in half. It looks like if I want to remove the IAC I will have to take off the entire manifold so that I can drill out the remaining bit of screw. My idle seems to be holding at 750 since the throttle bypass screw was loosened, and the rpms hardly move when I turn the AC on and off while in idle. I'm not at all confident in removing the manifold in light of what happened with the screw, so I may have to take the car to the dealer or mechanic.
