i just bought a 92 civic h2b DX that came with a stock 96 LS motor non-vtec and i want to start tuning the car but i have no idea where to begin. i'm thinking about swapping the LS engine with an h22a motor but i'm in a tight budget at the moment so i will have to post poned that for a while. with that on the side, i was thinking of getting a head and turn the LS motor into a v-tec, but i have no idea what head to get, and not sure what their price ranges are. so if somebody can point me to the right direction turning the LS to a v-tec and what part to get that would be greatful. i have $1,000 but not sure if that will do it. if not, i can either save up some more or looking for something else to tune. so which area should i begin? any idea? oh yeah, and if my money is not enough i can just buy headlights and all them exterior good looking stuff. maybe some JDM clear corner lights and some light bulbs. any information for them would be helpful too.

 

How is your car a h2b with a ls motor in it?

There are many threads about ls/vtec builds/cost, do some research on google.

For $1000 you might as well just save it. But like I said spend somtime researching and reading; you'll get the idea.
