Are the front knuckle assemblys the same for all the civics or is the SI different? Does anybody know (or can measure) the dimension from rotor face to rotor face where the wheels mount? I am building a tube frame car with KA24 and want to use the civic knuckles and axles as well. thanks

I don't know if this will help your cause, but I had an 06 Si and I used struts from the EX and LX.

The Si struts were built a little heaveyer but everything fit and worked right in the end.

 

Thanks any info helps. My main concern is if the SI has a bigger or stronger wheel hub I want to use it. And if the wheel hub is stronger are the axle splines different or bigger?

 

Try compareing bearing numbers should tell you if they are interchangeable, and the axle numbers should tell you if you are on the right track

 

The knuckle, hub, and hub bearings between dx/lx/ex and si are all different, looks as it si stuff is larger(bearing and hub size)
