I know that I should have a GCR (SCCA) but I don't. I am not racing SCCA yet. I promise to call up SCCA SF region to order one. Could someone look up the rules regarding head porting for IT legal cars? I need to know what can be done. I think it will say: gasket matching for intake & exhaust is OK. The extent of the porting allowed is 1" in. TIA.

 

Correct. No more than one inch in from the gasket.

 

manifold and head port-matching no further than 1" from opening of port. Thats it... service limits or .010" off the deck of the head (whichever is less, IIRC).
