Your short track game is killing you. Is the car spinning hard? I went 6.83@103 in the 1/8.

 

I ran 10.3 at 137.. diff it has 10s on it...

try to shift a bit faster or dont power shift..!!

 

They tried not power shifting and it runs slower.the short track is killing but it needs more boost in 2nd.it really doenst spin so much..just learned today that wastgate was falling off due to crack and cracked manifold.there going back out Friday to shoot for faster times

Good job guys! After watching the vid it looks to me like it needs more boost in 1st and 2nd. But i think after fixing the waste gate and crack it should be a lot better!

 

Yeah definitely sounded like there was a problem. Seemed like it was taking forever to spool up. Definitely didnt seem like you trapped 137 either Must have really picked up in 3rd and 4th. Definitely a lot more in it for sure if you get your 1/8th mile down. Seemed very slow for sure. i did 11.1@132mph and 1/8th mile was 7.3@102, went to 30psi and did 7.1@108mph then blew a coupler. New setup went 11.6@137mph bogging the launch, then spinning then bogging every gear. lol. It just takes practice and some more fine tuning.

You have the topend for low 10's. Good luck.

 

Very nice! The car is packing some sick power and seems like the driver is shifting it like he should. What trans/turbo and how high are you spinning the motor? It sounds like it falls out of boost between shifts.

When my car went 137 I went 6.89@109 through the 1/8th. Throw more at in first and second. My car was only on a single stage boost controller lol

 

If i remember the car made somthing like 480 i think. it was on a mustang dyno.. the turbo is a 6262. It spins to 9200rms-9400rms. But im more than sure Aaron was right. Nobody knew about the wastegate craked and the mani had a crack too, so they told me they just got it fixed. now i think the car will have a better short track, and we know the the top end comes on stong, so hopefully we see some tens tonight.Me personally am happy to see this car go faster a tenth at a time. But i heard somwhere as long as you drive home under your own power, then it was a good night at the track.. i believe that.lol.... i will try to call my friend so he can post on here what his setup is and what they made on the dyno.. thanks to everyone for there input.. it does help
