2003 Si FOB issue
Hi all,
I just picked up a 2003 Si Hatch (SiR in Canada) and one of my FOB's had no battery in it.
I put in a new battery (and yes it is the correct one) and prompty tried to lock/unlock the car.
It locked up once and then would not unlock.
I was able to use my other FOB to unlock/lock but the one in which I replaced the battery no longer works. It does light up so I know there is juice in the battery but it doesn't do anything. My local Honda dealer told me that I simply need to reprogram my FOB's to my car.
Honda can do it for me but they will charge to do it.
On the web I found instructions on how to do it via turning the key to on- press the lock button on FOB then turn key to off.... repeat 4 times within 4 seconds of each try and then hit the lock or unlock botton on both of my FOB's.
I just want to know if that is correct? I guess I have nothing to lose right, if it doesn't work I can jsut pay honda to do it.

Yes thats the way you do it. Turn car to on position hit the lock button on fob 1 repeat 4 times. Once you hear the door locks cycle hit the lock button with fob 2. That should be it.
Thanks g45mm.
I was able to get it to work.
SK8ERBOY: I was using the other FOB but since my wife also has a set of keys it's nice if we can both have a working FOB without having to shell out $$$ for Honda to program it for us.
Thanks for the input guys.
