So i swapped a y8 into my 93 cx using the stock OBD1 engine harness, injecters, VX dizzy and a P28 ECU. I converted the 1 wire O2 to 4 wire O2, Ran my VTEC wires and other wiring i cant remember. (read the how-to writeup). I drove it for about 6 months with it slightly bogging below about 3000 RPM(never could figure out why?), Recently my radio started shuting off when i turned it up. When i used my turn signals the gauge cluster needles when all over the place. When i put it to the floor the engine boggs and cuts out. Now it wont even turn over. Ive tried a different ECU, Turn signal switch, Hazard switch, and a main relay, and still nothing. I checked all the grounds in the engine bay(even cleaned up the contact surface with some 320 grit sand paper, still nothing. Its progressively gotten worse up to this point. Im out of ideas. Any help with my delima would be great appreciated, thank you in advance.

 

Cranks but won't start, right?

Basics ---> Does the fuel pump prime? Is there bright white spark at all four spark plugs? CEL codes?

 

There is no CEL. It does not turn over.

 

Define what you mean by "turn over"? What about answers to the other questions?

 

The starter does not engage. I have not tried using a different dizzy. i think that will be the next step.
