I'm looking at getting something to do an extreme drop on my car i'm trying to get atleast a 3" drop. I have been told that to do a drop like that the correct way would be to use tru coilovers. I was wanting to get coilover sleeves because theyre less expensive but i've heard they have a problem with rattling. Is this true and would i run into any other problems with coilover sleeves?

If you do use coilover sleeves, only brand id use is ground control nothing else sleeve wise....and on another note if you do not have both side even you will have your sway bar fighting each side and will give you an even more tire wear and a uneven drop.....and slamming that low expect to buy shocks more often......and yes it will make a noise sooner or later unless you wrap the shock up in something to make it fit snug.........and sometimes (but not all cars) that have High Mileage, going that low can make ball joints and upper control arm go and if im not mistaken strains axles and you might get some clicking when turning after time but i could be wrong....and also tie rods will take a beating. But to be slammed its all worth it lol
