Default D16A1

anyone know how much one of these engines are worth roughly? im going a differnt route with my 1st gen crx, and i got a complete donor car, the engine will include the transmission, turbo, and programed ecu.

That engine is only useful in a 3rd gen. Not much demand. Depends entirely on the history and condition of the motor.

its been bored out to a 1.8, has aem cam gears, had head work done to it...not exactly sure on that tho..

You'd have to do a compression test at the very least. For all you know, it could have been beat.

I highly doubt that someone bored out a 1.6 liter engine into a 1.8. That's just silly talk.

regardless of either one of your moms, im sure it was bs...but i still need to get off of this engine, what should i ask for it locally? with everything..

Strip it down, sell the head, dizzy, oil pan, mounts, etc..you get more that way than a complete block that has a questionable past. Look on the marketplace to see how much to ask for the parts.

it has no dizzy, but parting it out i can do :D thanks...i need to make as much off it as possible...gotta put it towards the new engine swap, btw its something thats never been done in a first gen crx, ill keep yall posted on how it goes
