Hey all, basically i have a rattle between 2-3k revs.... any1 knows what it might be? Thanks


Edit : its a 05 CTR Premier edition bdw, just to give some more info.

 

Does it sound like metal on metal.
(heatshield?)

 

thats pretty much what i thought, either heat shield or the exhaust vibrating or something of the sort.... i took it down to my mechanic to take a look and just my luck it decided to stop for that particular hour only -.- ... well its nothing serious so ill just jack it up some time and try figure something out

 

my car has the same rattle its the heat shield thats kinda of on the firewall facing the axles

 

did you upgrade your midpipe or exhaust kit?
mine is rattling on the bottom specially when im backing up very slowly or starting the car cause i upgraded to megan midpipe

 

Mine does the same thing! Shorty header, Megan mid pipe with DC sport cutback. But I also use Avid mount kit.

 

I had a DC race header and hks catback but I took them both off and its back to stock other than full innovative motor mounts and a cai and it still rattles

 

My car makes that rattle, too, I believe in my case it's the plastic cover over the injectors...
