Default Stealth mode exhaust!

Overall muffler length: 21 inches
Canister length: 12 inches
Tip length: 6.25 inches
Inlet length 2.25 inches

Can someone please measure the overall length of their stock EP3 muffler? Just wanna know if its 21 inches give or take. Having this thing mated up to a custom midpipe and wanna make sure it will fit the EP3 nicely (dont want the tips sticking to far out etc.)

if it is a custom midpipe just have the shop weld it to be flush with your bumper.

that muffler is gay looking... I'd never rock a dual tip....

You want stealth I have put together two 3" custom exhausts. Vibrant 3" muffler with kteller piping. Very Stealthy... all black like one you showed

Looks like nothing out of the ordinary but full 3" and he is pushing 500whp

Thanks guys, dont see how dual tips are "gay looking." The stock ep3 muffler is dual tip...anyways looks are subjective so we can leave it at that.

For the EP3 body style, the dual tips are European esque and pairs well.

BTW ended up getting my hands on a stock ep3 muffler. Gonna pair it up with the JP midpipe.

*Gonna polish the entire backbox as well for a unique look.

Here is a pic, just got the OEM backbox put on today:

=0!!!!!

hmm....so....i guess this changes everything for me lol

for an all motor setup

the jp 2' midpipe
would be better than the megan 2.25' midpipe
correcto?

i will be using the stock axleback btw

also the jp midpipe directly replaces the stock one?

The JP and Megan are both good quality imo. I have the JP myself while a friend has the Megan. Both seem to be of solid construction, fit & finish. The Megan midpipe is bigger as you stated/if I am not mistaken. As for the JP being better, I wouldnt say so but JP is a legit company. Some might say the Megan is better because its bigger in diameter for more flow etc. but either way you would be good. The JP replaces the stock midpipe and bolts up directly to the OEM axleback. As you may already know, OEM backbox has good flow and is idea for up to 300 HP. Just swap out the straw status midpipe and your golden.

i read a few old posts about the 2' jp midpipe and 2.25 megan one

and from what i can gather

with a two inch
i gain a few hp without losing low end torque

where as with the 2.25 i will gain more hp and lose a bit of low end torque...

im thinking since im only lightly modding my ep
the jp 2' is perfect??

someone please confirm this information lol.
