So I go on leave, I live in FL. I heard while I was gone we had crazy rain...I get back, try to start the car and it gives me a hard time, initially i'm thinking that my car might've had water in the tank or bad gas from sitting there for two weeks. I put injector cleaner in the car and surprisingly it got better. Ran it a few days, then the same symptoms came back. So i'm kinda stuck as to what it might be. I had a few guys tell me they think it's the dizzy going bad because it's a common problem.....idk.

That's why i'm asking here, startup is kinda rough, through the rpms it hesitates, but then it randomly goes away and acts like nothing happened.

Car has a b16a2 btw..dunno if that helps..

Gasoline has a month long shelf life. It is possible it could have settled in the 2 weeks of not running it. Check RonJ@HT's signature, he has a link to a spark test that will answer your question about the distributor. How is it running now?

right now it's running like crap...tried to start it up this morning and it popped like gunfire...happened last time like this when the tank got low : / dunno if that has anything to do w/it....a check engine light pops on here and there and then it'll disappear again.
