96 accord interior swap
well i havent done much reading on it but wanted to ask if anyone has completed an interior swap from a 97 CL to a 2dr accord. i was in the junk yard this past saturday and saw a black interior in a CL that looked too good to pass but uppon inspecting thought that the door pannels looked very similar to those in my accord, so i pulled one of and through it on the 2dr acc. next to it and saw that little addjustments were needed to make them work. so this weekend ill go back and grab the dash, carpet, front leather electric seats, remaing pannels and sensors and prepair for a swap. i know ill have to convert to auto air but wont be too hard if the heater cores are the same or can punch out for the sensors. took me 10hrs to convert my 96 altima from manual to auto air. all i need to do is make sure the dash will fit in. so far i have mounted the rear leather seats with fold down arm rest and rear pannels with leather inserts. ill post a pic of the rear seats when i get them completely mounted. they dont have the latch system on them so im haveing to cut notches ount in the metal of the deck lid so the seat hooks just drop in and meet up with the bottom.

oh yeh. i finished it a few months ago. all i need now is the woodtrim for the side of the dash. i have found three at junkyards and broke all of them trying to remove them, very brittle. other than that its good. auto ac, door pannels, front and rear seats and what not.
