CRX Wont Start When Warm?
Hi,
I have a 1990 Honda CRX, and when it warms up it starts idling lower and lower until it stalls. I redneck fixed this problem by tightening the throttle cable to keep the throttle body open a smidge (I got the car for $200.00, so redneck fixes if possible please).
Over the last few months the car has been developing a new problem where it wont start when warm. It started out just being a little hard to start after a few hours on the highway. Now It has been getting worse and worse to the point where after the car has been running for 15 minutes and I turn it off, it wont start unless I let it cool off for an hour or let it crank for a few minutes non-stop. When it's cranking it will fire and try to start, but wont quite turn over.
I checked the main relay, and I can only hear one click coming from it. I can hear the fuel pump turning on and off when put the key to the on position. It seems to help if I pump the gas a little when I'm trying to start the car.
Any suggestions?

I thought if it was the main relay it would just spin and not try to start?
Also the outside temp or temp inside the car doesn't seem to make a difference. It doesn't matter if the car sits in the sun all day, as long as it hasn't been running it's fine.
It's like the car has vapor lock, except removing the fuel cap just makes a wooshing sound, but doesn't help it start at all.
