Default Omni clutchmaster. Yes?No?

Considering purchasing on obviously to help with better shifting. I like to load the axles when launching and am worried this won't be possible or very hard to do. Can anyone using one of these let me know their experiences regarding launching.

I have the chance to buy one fairly cheap so I may just try it and see what happens. Not to clear on the spacer putting the cm farther away? You would have to adjust the rod out but my brain is telling me you wouldn't get full throw.
