dpfi to mpfi resistor box wiring and plug?
first off i am doing this on my own with the help of many writeups and my laptop right beside me.
i am using this write up
http://www.b20vtec.com/forums/techni...-diagrams.html
so far all i did was depin most of the injector wires that went to plugs, and i cut two wires in the gray blocked off plug, and depined one.

i have two injectors wired up. but i do not have the other two wired up to the ECU just yet.

(this isnt final!! once i have everything hooked up i will be soldering and heat shrinking!!)
in this write up he has the two yel/blk wired together with a 3rd yellow wire that runs to the resistor box.
now the resistor box i have had a green rectangle 5 pin plug. i got this box out of a 1990 ef hatch that had a b series swap in it.
and there isnt a plug that would even match to the resistor on my DA harness.
but there is however a 5 pin rectangular tan plug that will plug into it, but its on the other side of my DPFI harness.

that plug fits in no problem.
but my question is can i just cut that green plug off and wire the injectors straight up to it?

i think i just answered my own question about te resistor box.

Yes, you can just cut the plug and hard wire.
Better to have a plug though in case you ever need to remove the harness or injector resistor box for any reason.

but for right now my main focus is getting this car running.
i can use the same method for the res. box in that link correct?
later on down the road i will source a square plug and use pins from the DA harness to properly wire the plug up.
Looking on page 6 is a post by "Holset B18C" that shows the wiring without the plug as well as the schematic from the repair manual.
It's really not that complicated so keep it simple.
Each injector has one wire that goes to the ECU for ground.
The other injector wire goes to one of the output wires of the resistor box.
The resistor box contains 4 resistors that are exactly the same so it doesn't matter which wire you connect to on the resistor box.
The other side of the resistor box has one heavy wire that goes to your main relay and provides power to your injectors.

the way he did it, is the way i am going to for now.
another question though
i know on my ECU jumper it has wires for vtec. can i use a plug from the DA harness to plug into the pressure switch, and wire the jumper harness wires to the plug??

it shows here only one wire to the vtec pressure switch is the Gray wire on my ecu jumper... does that mean i wire that one up to one of the plug wires i want to use, and then use one of the black, or the brown wire on my ecu jumper to ground it?

TTTTT..
Soldered up #1 and #3 injectors. running wires from 2 and 4 to the ECU tomorrow.
Distribution block wires shortened up a bit, and almost the same lengths.
question though
in this link it highlights the wires that needs to be connected to the black wires
https://honda-tech.com/forums/showth...tor+box+wiring
but i do not have a wire in the top right. it just has a plug
do i cut off the 4 yel/blk wires for my injectors and wire it to the 4 black wires on the resistor box, then take the wire i spliced into my OLD 2 yel/blk wires and wire it into the red on the resistor??

BUMP!!!
im using OBD1 Injectors and i read i do not need the resistor box, just that little blocked off plug? can someone verify this?
what do i do with those three left wires?

the 3 left over wires coming off the block off plug are supposed to go to the o2 sensor, evap sensor, and iacv. if you want a true obd1 harness then you will need to hook the leftover yellow/black wires to those sensors. you dont have to, its your choice. when i make a full obd1 harness that is how i do them (make the obd0 car have a full obd1 harness, not just plugs).
i sent you a PM sir!!
now can i cut some plugs with pigtails from the DA integra harness and wire those plugs up that way?? for a more cleaner harness?
