Default took my hatch to the drags again (pics/crappy short movie)

4-2-1 header
2.25inch exhaust with flowmaster
no cat
cold air intake
took some stuff out of the rear
crappy dry rotted street tires
25 psi in front, 40 psi in rear

best run:
60 ft: 2.2
330 ft: 6.6
1/8: 10.3 mph: 67.4
1000 ft: 13.4
1/4: 16.1 @ 85

temperature was about 75 degrees and humidity 100%. the last time i ran it i did a 16.4 @ 85. i think if it were cooler a 15 sec. run could be achieved. but still, i think it should have done better regardless. now for the pics......

i got talking to the guy who owns this car. he was like, "ohh man, i thought we'd be like neck and neck right next to each other." hahah, dream on ricer.

(believe it or not, its a four door EF )

this was the only time we were side by side. haha. he ran a 18.5. should have spent some more money on the engine rather than some green fuzzy stuff all over the dash.

movie coming later.

yeah its the d16a6. no swap. but soon to be boosted. i was hoping for 15.8 or so and i was sure to make it, but o well. nothing a little boost can take care of.

well the first 2 runs the clutch was feathered. best et: 16.3 doing it that way and then dumped at 3k and ran 2 16.1's. and about the paintjob, yes i know, its not the BEST looking civic out there but it fills the bill for me. but when i get a job, i will take some money and invest it on the exterior appearance(wheels/tires, paint, and maybe the WW body kit??).
