2009 Honda Pilot Lumbar Support
Hello, Honda Community
Couple of Question, and any suggestion would be helpfull.
1.) I have a 2009 Honda Pilot Touring. My borther is a moron who do not use driver side seat memory button or too lazzy to use it or just does it to **** me off.
It me atleast couple of day's to adjust driver seat the way I want it.
I know. Why let him drive or borrow the car. The reason behind it is, I am currently unemployed and he helps me with the payments until I get back on my feet.
2.) How do I disable lumbar support? I have already pulled the fuse's for driver side seat adjustments, but this still does not disable lumbar function or lumbar support motor. Any suggestion?
3.) Honda Pilot only has 250 to 253 HP. What are my options to increase the HP without voiding the warranty when i get back on my feet, or hell with the warrranty what are my options on getting the most HP out of it without contacting Henessy Performance.
I am willing to go far as replacing the motor. but the motor has to be honda / Accura that means not V8.
4.) Can I use "E85" fule in Honda Pilot.
Any Tech's or Honda driver's who can help me.
Thank you,
Craig

2) Why are you trying to disable lumbar support? Just get up under the seat and unplug it, or remove the seat cover and unplug it from the motor itself. Just set it however you want and leave it????
3) You don't have a job and want to modify the car?
I am sorry but that is absolutely moronic. Put that money towards paying the car off faster if anything. There are J series superchargers for the Accords. I'm sure you could retrofit that system to the Pilot with money. You also never 'void' your warranty. You can have a warranty claim denied due to modifications however if they resulted in the failure. You add a turbo to your Civic and the engine blows.......well there's a damn good chance that turbo did something. You lower the vehicle and the engine blows, the warranty is still in effect.

Can I use E85 fuel in my Honda or Acura vehicle?
No. E85 is a new concept fuel being promoted by some other vehicle manufacturers. No current Honda or Acura products are compatible with E85. Refer to the owner's manual for gasoline requirements.
There are basically 4 types of gasoline:
• E10 = 10% ethanol and 90% gasoline
• E85 = 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline
• MTBE15 = 15% MTBE and 85% gasoline
• 100% gasoline
The ethanol/MTBE is added to the E10 and MTBE fuels as oxygenate to help the fuel burn cleaner.
These fuel additives, up to 10% ethanol and 15% MTBE, are allowed on all Honda and Acura vehicles.

Thank you, MuffinMan.
I just wanted to know what modification options are available so i can get some knowledge. I do know I am currently unemployed. Sorry that I don't have financial management skill's that GM or Bank of America would have.

I should say I wasn't trying to be a dick, but people that still have oodles left to pay for their car loan and are looking at expensive modifications (easily $5k + for a supercharger done correctly) you are much better off putting that towards paying off the vehicle. Then added to the mix you are unemployed and some one else is footing the bills - well how do you think they would feel if you magically turned up with $5k to spend on an unnecessary item?
