Default Tech question, 03 diamante fuel problem.

Hello, i been looking around online, but having some trouble. Im tryin to help my friend out she has a 03 diamante, and her gas gauge is reading empty all the time. I thought it was the floater in the gas tank, but ive read that this car does not have a floater in it. Any ideas what it could be? Ill check the fuses first but after wards im not sure what direction to go to. If any one has experience with this problem, please post your advice. Much apprieciated, thank you.

There has to be a fuel sending unit. If it's not that, it could be the wiring between the sending unit to the guage, or the guage itself.

Bump? There has to be a fuel sending unit. That's how the gauge cluster knows the fuel level.

This is not the tech section. Please take your technical questions to the appropriate area.
