will a d15b7 bolt to a si cable trans?
im lookin on e bay and i found clutches that are 21 splines and 20 splines and even one with 23...the si's are 21 right...and would a 7.5 pound flwheel be too light...thanks again
Clutch needs to match transmission (considering it's the transmission side with the splines)
flywheel is a matter of preference. i just got my stock one shaved and resurfaced at a local shop.
You just have to ask yourself: what is better, OEM cast iron that is tried and true, or aftermarket made out of aluminum? Do you want to be taking it apart again if it fails?
the difference in splines is 88, 89-00. 88 is the odd one.
90-91 has a bigger clutch opposed to 89.

the guy from the parts store said its a 21 spline..im asking cuz last time i replaced my clutch i had to get the hydro style clutch with a cable style throw out bearing..
dude it's your car the guy at the parts counter doesn't know ****. 88's are the ONLY year that have a 21 spline clutch. 89's use a 20 spline clutch but are the smaller 200mm diameter, 90-91 use a 20 spline clutch that's like 210mm's. look in the faq for the thread that tells you how to identify your transmission
