ok, I have an 89 crx si. The doors are rusted horribly, so I ventured off and bought a set of doors from an 88-91 (not sure exactly) crx.

I was looking at them today, and the ones I bought are not going to work. The pillars on mine are wide, and the seatbelt mounts on the pillar. On the doors I bought there is no provision for the seatbelt to mount on the pillar, and the pillar is only half as wide....

So I screwed up.

first question, what are the doors I got off of? a 91?

second question what all doors will fit my 89 si?

 

If no door mounted seatbelts then you picked up a set of 88 doors or Canadian ones.89-91 doors are the same though. Most people have the same problem(rust/rot) w/ their doors too so it shouldn't be hard to find a buyer if you can't return them.

For USDM, ALL the 88's and HF's in 89 do not have belts in the doors. All others USDM do.

 

how much do doors usually go for? can you only get new ones from honda or are there aftermarket ones? which reminds me perhaps someone makes aftermarket sunroofs? theyd make good business with all the rusty sunroofs and crazy prices from dealers for them ($300cdn!!!)
