Default Bleeder screw won't bleed

So I am gravity bleeding my brakes. I am at the last bleeder screw and nothing will flow out of it. I loosened it to the point fluid started flowing out of the threaded part. So are there any tricks? I assume I have to quickly install a new bleeder screw. Any advice or tricks to minimize the mess?

Remove it and clean out the port/hole, re-install. You can briefly cap the hole and slow the leak, even with wood dowel.

on the wood dowel. Both fronts were very crudy. Both fronts had no caps on the bleeder. What a diff it made.
