Icon2 Transmission problem after F22B1 swap on 96 accord lx

I just swapped an obd1 f22b1 out of a 94 accord and put it into a 96 accord lx automatic. The motor runs strong and starts fine. The problem is when step on the gas to floor it, it climbs to 60mph and pauses until you let your foot off the gas and press back on it. Then it shifts to the next gear....

Are the sensors different from a 96 accord lx auto tranny and a 94 accord vtec tranny?

I really need help with this, thanks in advance :cry

No codes, fluid is good, and the throttle control cable is properly adjusted?

You left the ecu from the 96.......read them as such.

Transmissions are the same between the 94-97s. No issues there.
If you swapped the harness and everything from the 94 into the 96 then you should be able to read the codes via the two wire blue connector.

Do I have to use a jump wire? Not too familiar with obd1. I do know that there isn't a code reader for it

Yes, you use a piece of wire(paperclip) to jump the two wire terminal, the CEL light should blink when you turn the car to ON, not start. Record blinks and look up code.

The ecu's use different connectors. How are you using an obd1 ecu in an obd2 car ? Are you using a subharness ?
