HAVE to over bore the engine which oversized pistons to get 11.5-12.0:1 CR
Turns out my insurance company let my car sit too long before they made a decision to total it
. So now it looks like I HAVE to have the cylinders over bored to get the walls back to normal instead of just honing, so that shoots my chances of using the JDM ITR to get the 11.6:1 CR which I was looking for. One option presented to me was the oversized usdm which would yield 11.1:1 w/ a 2 layer headgasket, but like I was saying I'm shooting for 11.5-12.0:1 CR. I was thinking about using the CTR pistons but 12.3-12.5:1 is a little too much for my comfort as a daily driver.
What oversized pistons do you guys recommend for the resulting CR I'm looking for? By the way I have a b18c1 its not a b18c5 but hey some of you guys really know your ****, and some have very similar setups.
goto 84mm bore with sleeves, thats a 2.0L for yah. and it leaves room for more boring if u happen to have a small fracture in the sleeve
Ok we've got the bore covered, but my question is:
What brand and which specific pistons should I go with to get the CR I want after the bore.
I'll be using new itr rods, I would think they would be able to handle 11.5-12.0 CR just fine.

If you go with the big bore, you have to order custom pistons (JE,Wiseco, etc.) and you can order your compression any way you want it. Factory pistons are only available in standard 81mm bore or oversize 81.25mm.

it depends, for example if u wanna run in the honda challege, than u can only get hondaparts. i got JE 11.5. JE makes good pistons, any size i beleive, its all about tuning.
Why don't you just get OS JDM ITR pistons?
Edit: On jdmhondaparts.com they have an aplication for oversized B18C-R/ P73 (Integra-R) Piston Set. So I guess they do have them.....

If you're concerned about cost...USDM B16A pistons, with a 0.25MM overbore, should put you to around 11.4:1, with a stock head gasket...use the stock connecting rods...don't think that you'll have a problem.
If you have a little more money buy some weiseco, or JE pistons and some eagle rods.
