Starting Problem

96 Accord, 4cyl, manual. Happens almost daily, go to start it, and the start acts like it is missing teeth. After 3 or 4 tries, it starts up fine.

any ideas?

same problem on my 95 wagon have you recently changed the starter. that was what started my problems

I recently bought the car. The starter was replaced, but I do not know when.

Upon inspection my starter was coming apart. That is why it was making bad noise.
