So i am almost done with my Z6 swap using a 89 cable si tranny and im wondering what did you guys do to figure out, how the brackets for the clutch cable and throttle cable were adapted cuz the a6 ones dont fit?

 

clutch cable shouldn't have issues mating to the transmission. if you're wondering about holding it to the engine or something, there is the bracket on the valve cover that can be swapped over.

i swapped a Y8, and had a hell of a time getting the proper bracket. It's only held on by one bolt right now! but it works.

as far as a mounting bracket at the shock tower... not sure, mine are just loose.

 

yeah everything is hooked up already i just dont really want them to look all loose

 

new problem so i have a 89 std and the throttle cable always gave me a problem. It feels like its too long it previously had a d16a6 now its a d16z6 and i noticed its long and wraps around the MS any suggestions?
