i have no idea where else to post this, but i just wanted some opinions.

i'm taking a 2 hour drive out to fresno to buy a 91 civic si with a motor that doesn't run due to electrical problems. the guy says it's a clean title but he doesn't have the pink. he says he has this paper that the dmv gave him that's like a temporary pink slip. he's letting it go for $600.

it sounds too good to be true to me, but i don't know. what do you guys think?

 

ask for a vin, ask cops if it's stolen, or get a car fax

alright, i got the vin and called the popo.
came out fine, '91 si for $600 is a steal to me.
