Default Map sensor ground?

So I'm getting a code 3 (map sensor wiring) and I looked at all connections and could not find a short anywhere. I was wondering what type of ground the map sensor uses. Is it a logic or power ground? Or does it matter? And better yet, could I simply re route the map sensor ground from going to the ecu to go straight to a chassis or battery ground?

Or could I run the map ground to the sensor ground?

Does the ecu rely on any information from the grounds at all? After splicing some of the grounds from the harness to the battery I have a code 3 for my map sensor

Or do grounds such as sensor logic or power grounds come into the ecu as a ground then all leave ecu from specific grounds? For example the ground wire from the map sensor goes into the ecu a26 as a logic ground then in the ecu gets routed as a power ground and exits as like a27 power ground?

Chase the wire and find out... Find a wiring diagram use it to see where the ground goes what it connects to and what is going on.

Well I saw where on my boomslang harness where the oxygen sensor ground branches out from the map sensor ground was being grounded pre ecu. My wideband is still displaying lean but my new question is : my header u2 bung only implements two runners from the exhaust as opposed to all four runners. Could this be why my wideband displays me on the heavy lean side? (16- "---")
