Considering local 2002 EP3... price opinion?

Guys,
A guy I know is thinking of selling his EP3.

Stats:

2002 Civic Si (EP3) - White
122k miles
2nd owner - he bought it in 2003
Bone stock, never raced (he could care less about racing/speeding)
Always changed oil at Honda dealer
Bad catalytic converter
Fair exterior (one 2-3" dent on passenger rear fender, small dent on driver's door edge, paint faded on two spots on rear bumper, one deep scratch on one of the wheels, yellow fade on headlights)
Fair/poor interior - in need of major detailing (he is a smoker too... will have to shampoo the interior a couple of times, signs of wear on steering wheel and shifter, some wear on seats but alcantara+stitching still intact)

What would you think is the lowest fair price I can offer him for this car?

I would go with $5500 to $6000 as a max price kelley blue book says $5800 for fair and $6700 for good, and from all the info you posted it seems like its more towards the fair range IMO.

Indeed bud, I priced it on KBB as 'fair' as well.
