Default Drum Brake question

i have a 93 civic sedan, im looking at doing a whole brake job and ive never replaced brake drums. I need to know what i need to replace in the assembly, do i need to buy a whole new drum and/or cylinder, or just replace the internals of it? Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

Also, i consulted the FAQ and didnt see anything relating to what i need

you need a drum brake tool kit and should replace the wheel cylinders. they are the pistons that push the shoes. also have the drums shaved on a lathe so the shoes seat correctly.

You need new brake shoes and get a hardware/ spring kit. You can use the old drums if you want or get new ones there pretty cheap and you can replace the cylinders in needed but if there not leaking and not frozen than you dont need to change them. Dont forget to greese the backing plates 6 total that the shoes rub on.
