Redline Water Wetter?
it's good stuff.
although Teken mentioned that soap does the same thing (surface tension of water).
I use it in all of my cars and many racers run 50/50 water and wetter

If you're not experiencing any overheating problems then I can't see any benefit in using this. It would be like waxing an already waxed car.
It will not do any damage to your engine. The more you put in, the more it will reduce temperatures of course. Ive seen at some drag races the teams actually carry along JUGS of water wetter, they run it straight. The red line water wetter is supposed to improve if not double the wetting ability of water, improve heat transfer, decrease cylinder head temps, reduce rust/corrosion of metals, cleans and lubricates water pump seals, and a few other things. If you put it in, you wont feel a difference in power, however Ive noticed a slight difference in temperature drop since ive added it to my cooling system.

The radiators on these drag cars must be huge.
Jugs of water wetter?? It says right on the bottle "1 bottle per automotive cooling system of 12-20 quarts" (1 bottle is 12 fl ounces)

I've been running it in my R for over 3 years now with no ill affects. In the summer I run straight water with 1/2 bottle of water wetter, then in the winter I go back to the normal 50/50 coolant/water mix. I notice a subtle difference in the heat soaking of the car, slightly lower coolant temperature (cooling fan cycles on/off less), and the cars cools down quicker between runs autocrossing (very important).
It doesn't make a big difference, but it is noticeable. I haven't tried a lower temp thermostat, fan switch, or radiator cap, but I would think those would make more of an impact to the cooling of the car than water wetter would. Just my $.02

My temps dropped a full tick on the stock gauge after putting it in my car. Of course my car ran a little hotter than most because it's FI so YMMV.

Haha! Very truth.

street cars need to be careful....the reason 100% water is not good is because it can turn to electrolyte
can damage the water jackets and eat away at the engine from the inside..
so unless your constantly changing out your fluids(like a proper race car should)
i would stick with a 50/50 blend
my weapon of choice is royal purple/ purple ice
