Y8 on b7 swap wont start engine cranks fuel is good air is good spark is iffy followed the 1342 from haynes manul but not sure about the distributer order

this is how my dizzy is positioned based on this i followed the 1342 to 1234 firing order





this is what happens when i try to start

You have them plugged in correctly, but first check for spark, if you don't have spark then you have a no fire issue. Like I posted on someone else's thread, check the grounds and sand down all contact points if necessary. You'd be surprised at what a bad ground can do. But in addition to the ground check to make sure your dizzy is good. One thing to check also is to see if your fuel pump is working. You can check that by unscrewing the small nut on the top of the fuel filter and see if fuel leaks out. If it does you're good, if it doesn't then you need to see why the pump isn't running. But before you go through that, check to see if the dizzy is throwing out a spark, if not then check those grounds, sand if necessary and see if your dizzy throws out a spark.
