Does anyone know what it could be? Every time I let off the gas, there is just a weird clicking noise that comes from the car during the first 2 seconds of deceleration, then it just stops. It just started a few weeks back.

Its an Auto Base '06 RSX. It does it in both auto and semi-auto modes.

 

Wanna tell us a location of this noise? lol

 

It sounds almost like transmission, and only happens around 2500 RPM give or take. As soon as I go over or under that it stops.

Sorry I didn't say anything before about the location, besides saying it was in the engine compartment I was actually unsure until a little earlier today after I tried a few things.

 

After a closer look around the engine compartment today i found a nice little surprise, my passenger side rubber engine mount has melted/torn itself apart. I'm assuming this is causing the noises.
