swapped sohc zc
converted to mpfi
pm6 ecu(canada)
all new gaskets on intake manifold
no clear vacuum leaks double checked all lines
short ram intake
runs good!

the car idles consistently around 550-650 rpm, but stock canada pm6 is suppose to be 800???

ive attempted multiple times to adjust the idle via honda manual directions but cant get it to go up? the EACV is supposedly properly working does everything else well! it drops once its warm? any ideas peeps

 

idk i idle at 500 when warm on pm6.

 

yeah it might just be like that, my idle increase when i turn on lights, fan, etc. and doesnt surge ever!

 

exactly. just a small increase for lights, fan and such then lowers again. I like it that way. the only thing thats loud is the air suction on the intake.

 

anyone else care to chime in?

 

Manual cars are suppose to idle fairly low, usual is 500-750,

 

mine idles the same with a zc sohc and pm6 also...perfectly normal from what i can tell...!!!
