f23 swap trouble
ok so i have a 96 accord ex 5 speed with a 98 jdm f23a motor,i used every sensor and everything else from the original f22b1! only cel i have is down stream o2 sensor. on cold start it runs great but after warm it i hit the gas like to back out of the shop and it starts missing in 1 and 2. i checked while it was missing and i have spark and not 100% but think i have fuel also i have no idea whats going on someone help im sick of not having a car!
O2 sensors don't start relaying information to the ecu until they reach operating temperature, roughly 600 degrees, your ecu is operating without data from the O2 sensor in open loop on startup and then getting bad information when the data is sent.
Its likely a bad O2 sensor.

02 is because there is no downstream o2 sensor again not going to cause a misfire!! and spark wire order is rite i know it is and yes its the f22b1 dizzy and everything in the dizzy is new from coil to ignitor so its not the dizzy!
Carry on, sorry I bothered to ask about the distributor.
Check your firing order. I posted a diagram in your other thread. I had the exact same problem when i had the F23 in my accord. I was 1000% sure my firing order was correct, but it wasn't.
The F23a5 is non-vtec, btw.
