I don't really understand why you'd go from vtec to nonvtec but be that as it may, you're using an ecu for a f23a ?

O2 sensors don't start relaying information to the ecu until they reach operating temperature, roughly 600 degrees, your ecu is operating without data from the O2 sensor in open loop on startup and then getting bad information when the data is sent.
Its likely a bad O2 sensor.

The o2 code is most likely a result of the misfiring.

Which distributor are you using? F22b1?

I did not say it was causing the misfire, I said the RESULT of your misfire because did not realize you did not have one in place at all... must have misread that.

Carry on, sorry I bothered to ask about the distributor.

Check your firing order. I posted a diagram in your other thread. I had the exact same problem when i had the F23 in my accord. I was 1000% sure my firing order was correct, but it wasn't.

The F23a5 is non-vtec, btw.

Check the engine coolant temp sensor wiring and the sensor itself. It's the 2 wire sensor located in the head directly under the distributor.

Get yourself an F23 intake manifold (3 wire IAC) throttle body & ECU and see how that works.
