Default injector CEL after clip splicing

hi HT, just got my motor running but as you know getting everything going the first time with no problems would be a miracle. This is what i'm working with now:

i am using an OBD2 motor with ALL obd2 peripherals including alternator, injectors and dizzy- but im running obd1 as this is in a 92 hatch. because i have obd2 injectors, i had to splice obd2 clips on to my obd1 harness. i also did this for alternator and am running a converter harness for the dizzy so that isnt a problem. i guess time will tell if the alternator also doesnt like spliced clips.

the motor runs but the idle is pretty shoddy. i assume the injector CEL (as in one of the injectors not spraying) is doing this? does any one even know FOR A FACT that you CAN just splice on obd2 clips without any problems??

i will admit my splicing was sort of half assed, bad solders, etc. Either way i just made sure that the wires were making a connection. could bad soldering be the root of my problem?

on second thought, the car STARTED. meaning the injectors have to be working in some form right? i never remember seeing anything in my research that you cant splice obd2 clips onto an obd1 harness.
