Would it be possible to take a newer Honda steering wheel with the radio and cruise controls and put it into my CRX? Would it fit right? could I wire the connections right? I like the look of them ---->

There is nothing that would make air bag pop out dont listen to him. Unless you hook a positive and negative to it of course.

 

Haha Alrighty.. How can I tell if the column size would be the same?..

 

You would prob need a newer column that would fit that wheel. As for the radio buttons to work you would have to have really good knowledge of wiring to make the buttons work with a radio that is not the one that is controlled by the buttons.

If you do it post up a diy and tons of pics it would be really cool to see it done right

 

that wheel would look fugly in the crx, but to each his own i guess. and i doubt it will bolt on unless maybe theres some sort of adapter out there but i doubt it. good luck if you can make it work.

This is all a matter of personal opinion. Essentially - anything will work with enough time and money, so NO it won't work for you son.

And all I wanted to know is if it were possible. Not if it will be "fugly" or look bad. So keep the opinions to yourselves I need actual FACTS on if this is possible.

And the steering wheel is only 30 to 40 bucks. Don't know about the steering column, however.
