Well I want to add some red to my Honda because red is my fav color. Also Type-R is red, etc.

I already got red rims and red transformers emblem on the back.

I'm thinking I want to make my interior like the picture below. And I was also thinking to paint my Windshield Wiper Arms Red.

Anyone painted there wiper arms before? Ideas...Thoughts?

 

Also any tips on how to take the interior pieces off without breaking them.

If you want an honest opinion, I've always hated painted interiors. The paint used is far less durable then just the plastic/vinyl surfaces they cover, so the paint typically fades/cracks/flakes off/chips, etc... and looks horrid. Then on resale, you'd have to replace any component that has been painted, if you want to come close to a decent resale value. And, finally, I think the OEM interior colors look better then any painted option out there.

But, with that being said, it is entirely your car and money. If you like how it looks, by all means ignore what I've posted.

As for a good process on painting interior plastics, I would go to the Paint & Body forum down in the Technical forums. There's a few threads within that should have decent information on preparation and painting procedures.

 

im not sure about painiting the wiper arms red, might look far out of place but its not hard to do. just remove the 2 14mm nuts, wiggle the arms back and forthand it should pop out, sand with some 400 grit paper, wipe down, prime if you wish, paint, reinstall.

for the interior its alot harder. my buddy had a professional do his, he used a vinyl agent ( what he told me) when he had the paint mixed, and clearcoated it. it held up good surprisingly

 

You could paint the calipers, drums, door handles, mirrors, seats, carpeting, and anything you can shake a rattle can at.

transformer logo on any part of the car is really lame. if you wanna pretty much ruin the interior then go for it. if ANYTHING, just do the 'H' logo on the steering wheel like the one in the pic. im sure you'll get this in a couple months
