I'm worried about the location of my alarm brain....
Okay, so I've got a Clifford Concept 600 installed in my car. I had it installed about two months ago, and I've been happy with it. The shop that did the install is managed by a friend of mine, and they did a great job.
However, a few weeks ago I had to get up under the dash to finish up the install on my foglights. From there, laying on my driver's floor with my head near the clutch, I can see the brain of the alarm. It's jammed up pretty high behind my steering column, but it is there.
Is this normal? Should I ask the shop to put the brain somewhere else? The alarm has the radar & shocks sensor, so anyone looking into the car will set off a beep, and the alarm will most definitely go off if the door is opened. I'm also running the Blackjaxx system so someone won't be able to get far unless they put in the code.
Regardless, should I be paranoid?
Thanks in advance.

its better than having it in the drivers kick panel.
Is it possible for you to easily reach up there and rip it out ? How about the wiring, is it visible or grabbable?

nah that should be fine, i would say 70% of all alarm shops will put your alarm there unless you tell them to hide it somewhere else..The thing that you have to understand is a alarm only makes noise..No alarm can prevent people from coming inside of your car..Preventing them from taking your car is the key to the security..
