ef swap d16z6 help?!?
so i have a 91 dx hatchback had a d15b1 converted 2 mpfi now im thinking of doing a swap a d16z6 with p29 high compression pistons..since is already converted from dpfi to mpfi all i have to get is the jumper harness for the ecu and distributor?im using a z6 distributor and trying to find a p28 over on my side..i wanna put the y8 intake manifold on the z6 head what tb and fuel rail do i use?i dont know if it have obd1 or obd0 injector clips but i have a resistance box it was working fine b4 so im leaving it with the 93 eclipce injectors how i got it..
have y8,z6,b1 intake manifold wif fuel rail
p29 pistons with all gaskets bearing seals and pistons rings
z6 head
10.2 mm spark plug wires
innomative motor mounts for 5speed si cable tranny
stage 3 clutch kit for (91 si/crx cable tranny)
obd0 to obd1 ecu jumpers and dizzy jumpers
when i put all diz parts together everything should be fine?just have to run the wires to the sensors vtec vtec pressure switch o2 sensors i know i need a 4 wire o2 sensor..
if i need more parts or doing something wrong plz let me know i just want to get this thing running back up again a lil better

Any fuel rail that fits on to the intake manifold from does 3 should b fine?I'm looking for a ls tb but kant find none around here..I'm most worried about the wiring since is a little bit more harder and want it 2 b right u know..thankz for dah help doe
look around local junk yards for throttle bodies. the wiring isnt really that hard, just a like hard to understand at first. your jumper harness should have come with instructions how to hook everything up. use the y8 fuel rail. you can use the obd0 injectors and keep the resistor box to.
ive been looking and nutting around here but if i find 1 im deff taking it..since is already to mpfi i dont have to de pin no more wires?when i get the jumpers harness just run the wires 2 the sensors and everything should b fine right?im just going 2 use the same eclipse injectors since the fit in the injector clips with the resistance box..thankz for the help any 1 and every 1 i just want the wiring 2 b sure dont want 2 have a short and the car not start hot it happend 2 alot of pplz
That's the IAT.
Intake Air Temp sensor.
You need that sensor and the stock location on the Y8 is mounted in the intake filter box.

Relocating for swaps is handled by putting a hole in your intake arm and putting your stock IAT in there.
If you use an OEM rubber intake arm then just drill the hole a little undersized and press the IAT in and it will stay.
Metal intake arms require creativity with zip ties or screws.
