Default dpfi-mpfi swap

ok, i am having this problem where the car is jerking and severely slugish. i am trying to fix it temp until tuesday where the car is going to someones house to basically get a new custom harness made for the dpfi to mpfi swap.

now i have another thread but this one is going to be simple.

it says in the howto for the conversion you must use a SI distributor. how can i tell if mine is a SI, in my old thread someone said it is stamped, can someone tell me where this stmp is suppose to be. and if it is not a SI dis, could this be the cause of why the car is running like complete ***.

I am also trying to find some pictures for a stock dx dis wires and conectors.
on mine the i beleive(im not outside right now), but both the blue and ?? colored wires are not hooked up to anything. the how to is based off of a si dis but i am thinking i do not have one on the car.

next problem is everytime the gas pedal is applied, there is a extremely loud high pitched whistle.

WHILE THE CAR IS AT A STOP, IT REVS UP JUST FINE, ALTHOUGH THE WHISTLE IS STILL THERE, IT REVS UP FINE WITH OUT BREAKING UP, BUT AS SOON AS YOU PUT IT UNDER A LOAD, IT BREAKS UP FROM ABOUT 1300-1500 RPMS AND ALL THE WAY UP. it also seems to be dumping a hell of alot of fuel in..

ok, so i tried to start over with running the 4 wires as the previous owners job was a mess, i hooked them up just how the dpfi-mpfi says to do it. the only ones i did not swap were the B-serires pins over to one another on the (B) plug. the injectors and the ones for the crank position sensor are ran right, but now it sounds like it is running on one cyl. , when you unplug the injectors one by one, they all are connected fine except when you unplug cyl. number 4, the idle stays the same which means something is still wrong there, i have gone over the wire for that and they all seem to be hooked up right. could it be because im running a PM7 (dohc ZC JDM ECU)?????

get a PM6 first off.
Verify your distributor wiring. There are TONS of diagrams out there.
The Si distributor should have a large round plug. The dpfi one should have a rectangular plug, and not have the blu/yel or blu/grn wires.
The only wires changed should be as followed, and should be hooked up as such.
A1 injector 1
A3 injector 2
A7 injector 3
A9 injector 4
B10 (orange)
B12 (white)
C1 blu/grn
C2 blu/yel

the blk/yel wires from the dpfi harness should be soldered together and a wire ran from them to the injector resisitor box, as well as the red/blk wires from the injectors.

the loud whistle could be coming from air passing between the throttle body and intake manifold(was for mine replaced the gasket and its good) or ive heard of it being from the idle adjust screw being in to far and it creates a whistle! and when wiring up the distibutor it is possible to mix up the two cyl sensor wires and the car will run but will be severely retarded in ignition timing!
