Default Experiences with G-Tech

I just wanted to hear some feedback about people who've used a G-Tech and also ran at the track...I hear some people say that its a tenth of a second off but i've heard others say it was almost half a second. I ran a 15.4 at 92.2 mph so I wanted to see how valid that was. I want to run it at a real track unfortunately both DelMar and Cecil County are damn near 1 1/2 hours away and I never have that much time.

it depends on conditions. if you used it while at the track, it would probably be very close. but just out on some random street there are many factors that could affect it and cause it to be off.

the blitz version is alot more accurate.. it takes wieght and vehicle speed (from the vss) into consideration..

The street I did was very long and flat, not real rough but it still was a street. Well one of these days I have to take a day off to figure out what my time is...Oh, just for the record, I have a 96 H23, H23 tranny, Accel SuperCoil, Matrix Intake, and 2.25" catback exhaust.

i've found Gtec to be pretty acurate (+-2tenths) if you launch the car good. However, where i live its no easy task running a full 1/4 mile on the street. I tried and i had to brake through most runs. But i still managed to get a few full runs in, but thats only because i drove to some shady road in the middle of nowhere. The HP is probably BS on the Gtec, but the 0-60 and 1/4 mile is legit. One of my friends has the Apexi revspeed meter in his RX7tt, and theres a lot of stuff in it. Is it acurate, i dont know, he hasnt ran his car at the track yet.
