2001 - 2005 Civic Blown Headgaskets

I apparently have a blown head gasket. I have not had it fixed yet , but I barely use my car to avoid overheating. I still am skeptical that it is a head gasket. I see posts here where people suggest the problem is caused by a clogged radiator.
The lack of response here shouldn't be interpreted as lack of a real problem .People who have had their car repaired probably stop checking this site for solutions.

I drive mine like its stolen the best of times, lol. needless to say i certainly do no baby the car, it sees high rpms fairly often, it has 177,000 km's and my head gasket is just fine.
It's possible for a radiator to be clogged. My radiator was clogged as it always shot the coolant through the reservoir. First thing I learned here was "it's sounds/most likely the hg." That's not always the case. Went to a shop and had a combustion leak test performed. Everything was normal. Then the shop realized that only one side of my radiator would get hot and the other cold. I replaced the radiator and bled the system like I always do. No overheating problems yet.. *knocks on wood* fyi been about 2 weeks?

mine never BLEW, but it leaked coolant into the cylinder on one cylinder... I would have burp the system and add coolant every couple weeks, oil and coolant never mixed. But that engine is long gone........

Usually if there is a cooling problem, I will check both sides of the radiator and both hoses as a first approach... Yours is the first that I've heard being clogged. I have only heard that it could happen, but I have not heard of it actually happening until now. Are you the first owner?

Yeah totally forgot to check the rad and actually touch it because I was already convinced that it would be the hg(due to coolant filling reservoir symptoms). The water pump was replaced 4,xxx miles ago along with the timing belt. I was told to start off by replacing the small things such as the radiator cap and thermostat. I am actually the second owner.
