im new here and i need your help
i just bought a 2001 ap1 with 30k miles.
the car drives great but the only thing that bothers me is that the rear of the shakes when one or two tires pass thought gaps.
the previous used to run on coil-overs so i guess he might didn't install the stock suspension properly.
and also i hear some noise from rear.
please let me know if anyone have had same problems before.

CV axle buckets are worn, replace them

 

Inner CV joints are probably worn. It's a fairly common problem. Does you feel a shake from the rear on acceleration?

i do hear clicks and pops on acceleration,
so which parts i need to purchase and is it expensive?

It could also be the rear axle nuts need tightened. That's fairly easy and common on the early AP1s.

 

OR just get half shaft spacer..easy fix!!!

 

May be you need half shaft spacer

 

what's a thought gap? or am i having one now?

 

i have at least 5 thought gaps a day

 

have you ever passed a thought gap like this fellas tires though? No wonder his rear shakes

 

just swap them out... youll be set...
