I was told by the shop my motor mount is broken. Ive seen what a right side broken mount looks like, but the left is obviosly different. I looked at it, and it looks fine. I revved up the motor, and it flexes slightly, but it also does on the rear mount. I have noticed that in 3-5 gear, it seems a lil shaky, but its not enough for me to be conifdent the mount is broken (might possibly be my imagination). What would the mount look like if its broken, and how would it affect my car?

Mine split the rubber and shot rusty water all over the engine bay. It still felt fine but the mount was shot.

 

yeah those mounts on the 99-00 coupes always get torn. If you look at the front of it you will more than likely see that it is torn. Just buy some inserts and call it good or even better, Place Racing makes a driverside mount goes for about 150.

 

But they are a biotch to put in

 

97HB - so I'm guessing an EK. They are notorious for the driver side motor mount breaking the "fluids" loose, Id suggest the HAsport solid mount or PlaceRacing...either or.
